Stamping with glitter!

I've seen a lot of talk about stamping with glitter lately. I think this technique is a lot of fun, and here's my latest card using it. The glitzy sparkle just can't be beat!

So, here's the burning question: How do you get this look and more importantly, how do you get this look to stay?

My answer? Tsukineko Essential Glue Pad. I know a lot of people aren't enjoying this pad, but I have a tip that might just change your mind. I think it is pretty common knowledge that you really have to juice up your pad often (I do it every other inking). What I don't think is common knowledge is that once you stamp the glue, give it a little time. I wait about 8-10 minutes, letting it get a little set up and tacky. I sprinkle the glitter, tap off the excess gently and LEAVE IT ALONE (which, if you know me, you realize is just absolute torture!). Overnight - seriously! Don't touch it - don't just gently check it or anything.

Trust me! Give it a try and LMK how it works.
Be well! ~ Jenn

Jenn,
Thanks for the tip on the glue pad - I just wasn't having any luck the the heat and stick type of product and glitter.

I'm glad I found this tip. I tried the glitter stamping once and the letters rubbed off over time. I will try your technique and see if it gets better.
