This time of year is tough on bloggers like myself who are working like crazy and have nothing to share on their blog. Today, though, I have a fun project to share with you. It uses Paper Salon's new Star Spangled collection, a great grouping of patterns and colors that I have fallen in love with - they're so easy to put together and make look FANTASTIC! Here's a banner that I made with them (also featured on the Paper Salon blog today):
See the cute pinwheels? This is from one of the sheets of paper in the collection; it is a 12 x12 piece of paper divided into four 6x6 quadrants. Each quad is double-sided with different patterns, and then DIE CUT into pinwheels! Isn't that the best? It will make all of your patriotic projects so easy! Plus they look gorgeous with all the different patterns. I also used the new chipboard that coordinates with the papers; I glittered up the USA and placed them on scalloped circles (Nestabilities, of course!). I hung the whole banner with scrapelastic to finish it off!
I hope you like it - I have a couple other cards using this collection that I will share soon! I hope you have a great weekend!
Be well! ~ Jenn
