Picture Perfect!

This may very well be my favorite project from the Papertrey Ink March release! It uses the new sets Boxes, Bages & Tags and Favor It Weddings. To start out, I carefully peeled off the label from a Kodak disposable camera. Once it was peeled, I re-stuck it onto a piece of computer paper. I then cut out the label, creating a template. Very easy! The next part is a no-brainer - trace onto the patterned paper and cut. Because of the curves on the camera, you will want a strong adhesive, such as Xyron or one of the strong tapes (Score Tape, from Score Pal, comes to mind).

I created the tag from Nestabilities and attached it to the Berry Sorbet Swiss Dot ribbon with a little piece of DMC floss. The little white dots on the scallops were done with a white Sharpie (I like other white pens, too, but this one has great coverage, especially on a darker paper like this Berry Sorbet.).

These new Papertrey Ink colors, Berry Sorbet and Sweet Blush, are just so versatile and scrumptious. The papers are the perfect thickness, the inks are quickly becoming my favorites and the ribbons...sigh, the ribbons. ;) This is the first month that I got to see the stitched ribbons and I love them for all their differences - the texture, the width. Ahhh, ribbon bliss.

As always, LMK if you have any questions! Be well.

What a great idea to alter a camera! I loved this when I saw it on Nichole's blog, too!
