Honey Bees are all the Buzz!

I've only ever been stung by a bee once, so I thinnk this new Papertrey Ink set is just adorable! Honey Bees was designed by Candice Aguilar has certainly made a fun set this time! Just look at all those possibilities! I think the two-step bee is so clever - and looks great done with Papertrey Lemon Tart and Palette Burnt Umber. (You can view my full supply list here.) The girls on the design team and I were chatting about the honey comb stitching on this card; I will admit to you what I told them - it was a programmed stitch on my machine. ;) So while I would love to amaze you all with my incredible sewing prowess, I really can't!

I hope this card shows you a little of the versatility of this set; while the bees take front and center undoubtedly, you can certainly use this set in ways that let them take a lesser role. Not only did I use new PTI stamps, but also the new Lavender Moon cardstock and ink. I loved the way it paired up with Lemon Tart - so soft and springy! You may also notice some new Spellbinders dies on this, including Long Rectangle Mega-Nestabilities and the ribbon tags.

I hope that you're enjoying your weekend. Be well,
