I'm officially in Virginia!

Well, the move is complete, the boxes unpacked, the boys registered for school (which starts on Tuesday!) and life is beginning to resemble normal again! I have heard from a couple of you about pictures, so I will get to that soon (promise!).

The boys and I have been exploring our new neighborhood a bit, enjoying the fun places that we are now able to walk to - Dairy Queen (yum!), the library, the farmer's market, the delicious Mexican restaurant - all sorts of fun places! We went and got our new library cards yesterday, when I realized that I have a HORRIBLE habit of trying to remember all the books that I want to read. I decided that I need a list just for this, which sparked a creative moment (which have been all too sparse lately!).

I received some fun >Just Rite stamps last week, and knew they would be perfect for my new notebook. Here's what I did:

The new Small Letter Set was perfect for stamping out "What I Want to Read", and then I added my monogram with the Special Occasions Font. I cut the shape using my new Spellbinders Small Labels set. But why stop there?

Making matching book plates are a breeze using the "From the Library Of" border! I thought it would be fun to make a matching paper box to hold the labels, then use a die cut Classic Circle Nestability, one of the Elegant Borders, the Small Letter Set, and the Medium Letter set to spell out "Read & Enjoy".

And what Reading set would be complete without a book mark. At a faint stab at humor (and echoing what I've been telling Wally and the Beav all summer!), I stamped out "I stopped here. Read More". I love how this set came together! It was really fun and easy to do with these fun products! Here's how it looks altogether:

Be well.
