I got lost in the layers!

Does this ever happen to you? You do something a little (just a little!) different, only to find that you just love it? That's what happened to me today. Usually, I'm a bit of a minimalist when it comes to layers, but with this card, I got a little carried away. There's lots of die cuts on this (Classic Squares, large and small, Long Classic Rectangles, Long Classic Scalloped Rectangles, Classic Ovals and Labels Trio), some older Making Memories paper and ribbon(Fresh Anthology Sydney), Ranger Liquid Pearls. The stamps are from Lockhart Stamp Company - the sentiment cracks me up with this tissue box.

Yellow is my favorite color, and I just love it paired with blue. I thought it would be a cheerful color combination for a sweet get well card. Luckily, I don't know anyone in need of this right now, but it is one of those sentiments that I like to have on hand for when I do.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today. Be well.

This card is appropriate for me as well as I am also sitting here sneezing with a nose that thinks it's a tap. DH just brought me 2 boxes of kleenex. I got my cold from my 31 yr. old son. KIDS!

Love the card!

Time for me to take another shot of Buckley's mixture and head for bed.

Such a sweet card, Jenn. I love the layers. I also love the harvest basket one you did farther down. Beautiful coloring. I tried to sign up for a class at the local stamp store to learn how to use my Prismacolors, but it was full. ;( So sorry to hear about the turquoise paint on the pink scooter. Just think of it as a bit of 'character' added to it. ;)
