Comfort and Joy

We spent a little time recently walking around Alexandria recently. One of the best things about living here is all of the rich historical areas - Alexandria is definitely in this category. The store fronts are all decorated for Christmas, and it is just fantastic. Here are a couple of wonderful examples:

I hope you have a wonderful holiday. We're off to go ice skating a little later - our Christmas Eve tradition. Since we're in a new place this year, we had to find a new venue, so how's this for fantastic: skating at the National Gallery in DC. Looks like a winner to me! Just saw your post of Alexandria and your Guys. Wonderful. We visited Alexandria several years ago. Still remember the wonderful time we had their. A little late hope you had a wonderful holiday and a bright and blessed New Year.

Beautiful pictures. I've only been near ALexandria one time and it was in Nov. about 30 years ago. (Wow time flies!) Your pictures have motivated me to make another visit. Just lovely!
