Crazy Monday

Those two crazy snow-covered boys are Wally and the Beav from this AM - here in Virginia! Needless to say, they were home from school - which means lots of fun: Rock Band marathons, hockey games in the basement, fresh-baked cookies and the dryer running more than normal to dry those snow-soaked clothes! It was a nice change of pace having an impromptu long weekend.

Wally's school had a bake sale/talent show Friday night. I spent Friday baking up a storm and the house had a great aroma of chocolate chip cookies and brownies - ahhhh! So I forgot to take a picture of the finished products, but I did take a pic of my 'special' labels for the sale:

I ran them all through my Xyron machine and simply adhered them to the front of the ziploc bags. They were such a big hit! I love how adding something so simple can give something such oomph! (The stamps are Papertrey Ink Holiday Treats.)

Nothing else too exciting to report, I guess. It was a quiet weekend, apart from that howling wind! I hope it's warm where you are!

Be well.
