Good morning, sweet neglected-blog friends! :) Thanks for the well wishes, they mean the world to me.
I've been in a total clean & simple mood this week, so I thought I would just quickly show you some of the cards I've been doing. The card above is 3" square and has a cool effect on it, thanks to my new Shimmerz paints. Here's a different angle:
Isn't that perfect for the water? I was so pleased with the effect! OK, here are a few others to make you smile (hopefully!)
The inside sentiment on this one is Happy Birthday, so I thought these chicks with party hats were just too cute. It's going to a dear friend of mine (and that's all I'm going to say, in case she's reading this!).
These next two are for challenges. The first one is for the Clean & Simple challenge on SplitCoast - where this week we're being challenged to make dots either with piercing or markers. That's all that counts!
Here's another dotty one, but it also is for Glenda's Random AMusing Challenge to use curves. I pulled out a french curve to cut the paper for this (in case you wondering how I achieved the consistency - if you want to know how to do this in more detail, let me know!). I also used some pierced dots for raindrops - they have a little glitter pen, too, in real life that is pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself.
OK, I think that's pretty much all for now. LMK if you have questions on the materials (I'm being lazy today, lol). All the stamps are A Muse, and the card sizes are a bit smaller than usual for me this week (lots of 4 Bar and some 3" and 4" squares).
Thanks again for the well wishes! Be well.
