Wee & Whimsical Wednesday

I don't know about you, but spring means lots of showers for me, baby showers, bridal showers - you know the sort! I came across these darling bud vases at Target the other day and thought how beautiful they would look lined up on a table as a decoration/favor. They came four to a pack and were relatively inexpensive.

So I decided to gussy it up a little by tying on an Inchie. As you can see, I chose a White Inchie Square and the Lockhart Itty Bitty Vase. I first used my CropADile tool to cut a hole for the ribbon, then stamped and colored (with Prismacolors). Then I took Baby Blue Liquid Pearls to edge the Inchie Square. Once that was dry, I filled in the front with Glossy Accents. Once again, set it aside to dry. After, back it with some fun paper with a scalloped edge and tie it on to the vase. Here's a closer look:

This is a project that you could easily (and affordably!) recreate for any occasion. Change the colors, or the image, and you get a whole different feel - one perfect for the occasion you're celebrating.

Be well.
