Hostess with the Mostest!

I have another new Lockhart image for you today! Look at how seriously adorable this apron is! There are really endless possibilities for this stamp. Here I've used it as a thank you note for a sweet friend who had us over this weekend, but I think it would equally perfect for a kitchen-themed shower, don't you?

The best thing about this stamp? It's ability to change looks. For this image, I stamped it on a piece of patterned paper (this is a piece from Paper Salon) and cut it out. SO EASY! The colored accents and shadows are done with coordinating Copics and took no time whatsoever. If you would like a closer look at those details, you can click on the picture.

I think I'm going to whip up several of these cards because it came together so quickly and easily. It's such a nice card to have on hand and always makes such a nice impression on your hostess.

I hope you're having a great week so far. I'll be back later in the week with some exciting news from Shimmerz! (hint, hint...)In the meantime, be well.

(supplies: New Leaf cardstock and ink, Mega Mixed Messages - Papertrey Ink, lattice punch - Martha Stewart, patterned paper - Paper Salon)
