Take Time for Tea

One of the perks of my job with Papertrey Ink,/a> is that I get to see stamps pretty far ahead of the release. When I saw Tea For Two, I knew that this was a set that I would cherish for years to come - and I'm not even a huge tea drinker! I just adored the fluid lines of the tea pot, and the fonts and quotes just topped it off for me. I made this card a while ago for my mother-in-law. I used Background Basics: Retro for the great shaped background - and then I added in the tea bag tag from the anniversary set, Everyday Classics. It fit in beautifully, and since they're clear stamps, it was a cinch to place. I added a little colored pencil to it to tie it all together. I think the rest of it is pretty straightfoward, but as always, if you have any questions, just let me know and I'll do my best to answer them.

Oh, and don't forget - tonight is the PTI Blog Hop!

I hope you're having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. It's an amazing weekend in the DC-area - it really makes you stop and think. Be well.

I like that teapot, too. I hope you have had a chance to get out and enjoy some of the free offerings in the DC area this weekend!
