Wee & Whimsical Wednesday

OK, you have to let me know if I'm the only one this has happened to - I need to basically schedule a date with my husband. Somehow in our 16 years together, we've forgotten to take time for the two of us. So I thought this would be a fun little note to leave him! Pizza, a movie and ice cream would be a heavenly date(what can I say? I'm a pretty simple girl!), and these Itty Bittys from Karen Lockhart sum it up perfectly! I used three white Inchie Squares to start my card. I stamped them in Memento ink and colored them in with Prismacolors. The rest just sort of fell into place, making a fun, whimsical reminder for my husband! ;)

One thing that I hear sometimes is the difficulty stamping on an inch, because let's face it, it's kind of small! I thought I would show you how I love to do it, because it's the opposite of what most of us stampers were taught to do. I turn my stamp upside down, ink it up, then place the Inchie Square onto it.

This lets you center your image with much more precision than the traditional way. I hope it gives you a new way to approach your Inchies!

Be well,

Hey, that is my kind of date, too! Thanks for the tiny stamp tip.

Jenn, this is EXACTLY how I stamp my Inchies, too! ~ GMTA ~ Love your card idea -- I almost went with these same 3 stamps when I did my movie-themed artwork, but I changed my mind at the last minute! And yes, this is a great date in my book, too!
