Wee & Whimsical Wednesday

Hi - what a funny month, there are actually five Wednesdays in this one! And as luck would have it, three of those were Wee & Whimsical Wednesdays, where I show a different way how to use Inchies Squares, the great little squares made from premium archival matboard from Inchie Arts. I really love this surface because it accepts different coloring mediums so well; there is no flaking with Prismacolors pencils and no feathering with Copics. I even use watercolors beautifully.

For this card, I first stamped the Inchie Square with Lockhart's Itty Bitty Leaf Border and then with the Itty Bitty Teapot. A quick coloring with Prismacolors really brought it to life! (For an easy way to center this, please refer to this post.) I used a square Nestabilities for a debossed frame around the Inchie Square, just to highlight it a bit more. Topped with a ribbon, it makes a simple focal point for this card that is very eye-catching. Paired with the sentiment "I was in hot water and you were there" (also from Lockhart Stamp Company), it makes a nice card to have on hand for a friend who really helped you out in your time of need.

There are so many great Itty Bitty Stamps from Lockhart Stamp Company, that you can create a multitude of cards just like this one to have on hand for when that specific occasion comes up. The fun products from Inchie Arts make it fast and simple! Give it a whirl!
