I love the way that this treat bag turned out! The Lockhart potions image colors up quickly for an easy image for your Halloween goodies. I used Copics to color this up in a vibrant, spirited way and also airbrushed the background to add a little extra something. You can't see it here, but there are areas colored with Spica pens, too - really adding to the Halloween charm.
I've heard from a few of you that you're curious as to where you can find Lockhart images. Karen has a great list of retailers on her site; you can find them here. There are retailers located by state, internationally and online - it's a great reference. And if your local stamp store doesn't carry Lockhart Stamps, now is a great time to start! The new release is just fantastic!
So did you have a good weekend? I did, if a bit quiet. All my guys took off for the weekend to Watkins Glen (NY) for a weekend car race. I can't manage to breathe when my husband is racing, so I don't go. Of course Wally and the Beav think it is fantastic to be part of Dad's 'pit crew', and I think it is pretty special for them to build those memories. I spent World Cardmaking Day at Angela's Happy Stamper with Laura. We chatted with lots of fun people who were spending the day making cards, and we collected lots of encouragement cards for former foster children now in college and trade schools. It was a great way to spend the day!
