Papertrey Tuesday

Were you as inspired as I was by the PTI Design Team Holiday Card Post on Nichole's blog last week? I love this project, and can't wait to see what the team creates each year! It's a great exercise in how to mass produce beautiful cards. I couldn't help but get right into the fun! I created these to have minimal bulk, because I wanted to be able to package them in some tins that I had (they're tins from Paper Salon stamps).

They're made from a card base of Stamper's Select cardstock; the sentiment is from Signature Christmas and is stamped in Pure Poppy. The embossing is from an embossing folder and my ScoreIt tool, then highlighted with some Stickles. Rounded corners gave it a finished appearance. It was a quick and easy look that I was really pleased with!

Packaged up, I think they will be a fantastic set to give! I'm so glad to get this head start on the holidays - but of course, Papertrey Ink always makes it easy!

Love the design. How did you make the narrow embossed strip? Cut one of your embossing folders?

Jenn, I love those! What a great idea to package them in the tin, too.

This is just so beautiful. I love white space on holiday cards.
I was going to try to come for your Learn at Lunch last week, but took too long at the dentist. And I forgot about it yesterday until it was after 4, so I missed out again. One of these days...
