There is BIG news from Inchie Arts this week - did you happen to see it announced on World Card Making Day? Well, in case you didn't hear, Inchie Arts is coming out with New Neutral Inchie Squares! The hues are ivory, dark creme, wheat, light gray and dark gray and I just know they're going to open up a ton of possibilities for Inchie creating! Lisa has a great look at these new beauties on her All In An Inch blog.
So onto my card! I went to AC Moore last week; I hadn't been in quite a while. Since I've been working with my friend Eileen's new dies, I've been refamiliarizing myself with Sizzix dies. It was at the craft store that I saw this cool Movers & Shakers die - of course, it immediately reminded me of Inchies!
I used the Lockhart Rocking Chair for my focal image. I airbrushed the sky and grass with the Copic ABS and then used Copics to color the image. By turning the Inchie Squares onto the diagonal, you get a whole different look.
Here's a look at the card when it is open:
And because I'm so pleased with the way the image turned out, here's a closer look at the Inchies: (I just love the fall feel that this ended up having.)
I hope this gives you a new idea for incorporating Inchie Squares with your cards. Be well.
