I've mentioned before how much I adore these Lockhart Windows. The amount of detail that Karen has in them is delightful. I never get tired of creating with them - they really offer a great way to challenge your own coloring skills. I opted to use my Copics to color this one. For this card base, I did something a little different - I started with an A2 cardbase and a gatefold. I then cut that into a heart-shape, leaving me with this unique base.

Once my image was colored, I started on the details. I stamped and colored an additional banner and cut them out. After popping them up on foam tape, I added some Glossy Accents (I love how this simple steps adds shine and dimension to your project). While I had my Glossy Accents out, I added some on the flowers. Rather than use it solely as a shine factor on the flowers, though, I decided to use it as an adhesive for some microbeads.

The end result? A fun, detailed card with sure-fire power to bring a smile to anyone's face this Valentine's Day!

Thanks for stopping by today - I hope it is a great one for you. Be well.
