Papertrey Tuesday - a little late!

Sorry for delaying Papertrey Tuesday by two days! I wanted to show you this card, but wanted to wait until the recipient had seen in person first - you know, so the surprise wasn't spoiled!

I had a lot of fun putting this together. The bright colors were just the thing on a cloudy day - and just enough outside of my comfort zone to challenge me (and who doesn't love a good challenge!). I started out by cutting strips from In Bloom, then sewing them onto a background of Lemon Tart. I stamped a Vintage label and the die cut it from Stamper's Select, then stamped the cupcake (from Everyday Classics) and sentiment (from Mega Mixed Messages). Add a big, beautiful bow and you have a mini-masterpiece (OK, maybe not that great, but we'll pretend!). Here's a closer look:

I can completely see using this layout again and again! It went together really quite easily, and the coordinating Papertrey Ink products make it so easy to get a colorful, yet coordinated look.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be well,

Jenn this card is so much fun!! So bright and happy! I'm sure the person loved it. I think I'll break out some bright colors to work with today---it's still snowing like crazy here.
