A new window!

I was just thrilled when I found out that this Lockhart Tulip Window was coming out. I have always been drawn to tulips and I know I've mentioned before how I like the challenge of coloring terracotta pots, so combine them with a new window stamp and WOW! I'm all smiles!

I used Copic markers to color this image, in part because I really wanted it to pop. I'm planning on going back and coloring this image another time with colored pencils, too! I think it will be a fun exercise to see how they end up.

Here's a look at it with a little more detail. Does it have you longing for Spring? It does me - especially since we got another 5" of the fluffy white stuff over the weekend. (And yes, I'm wondering if I really did move South or not last year! Enough already with the darn FOUR LETTER WORD, hee hee.)

I do find coloring images like this are so therapeutic! I know I'm not alone in this sentiment, either - there's just something so relaxing about it. I hope that you can make a little time this week to color something SPRING-y. (You can even check your local store for this Lockhart beauty!)

Be well.

How's everything? Love your breath of spring card :-) Maybe we can get together sometime and I can fill you in on CHA?

Your window cards are always so pretty! It will be fun to see the window colored with pencil after seeing with copics.
