Sizzix Blog Hop - Scalloped Box

Well, I'm doing it again! Eileen Hull has assembled an even larger group of oh-so-talented designers to showcase the latest Scoreboards dies, and I honored to be playing along! This time around, Eileen has added a couple of fun new aspects!

The first new aspect of this round of blog hops is the PRIZES! The ScoreBoard die used in the project will be given to the designer whose project gets the most votes at Eileen's blog. The other prize will be a ScoreBoard die from the first collection given to one lucky reader! To qualify to win, you must write a comment on any of the participating designer's sites. Voting ends the Monday following the Wednesday hop at 6 PM.

The second new aspect is our challenge! Eileen issued a challenge to use office supplies on today's project. This was particularly fun for me, because I love the office supply store! Honestly, as a kid, when my brother & sister would spend their allowance on candy, I would spend mine at the office supply store. Lifelong affliction, I guess!

I used lots of items from Papertrey Ink on this fun box! First is the ledger paper - it's part of the Color Couture download from March's release. Perfect for sticking with the office supply theme! Then I used Text Style II with Dark Chocolate ink on Spring Moss cardstock. I die cut the flowers with Beautiful Blooms II #1 die set. The binder clips were fun to wrap with a little twine, and a button made the perfect flower center. Adding a little Dark Chocolate swiss dot ribbon added a little touch of whimsy!

This Scalloped Box is going to be a real staple in my collection! It's going to be a great holder for gift certificates, and the scallops add the best touch. Don't forget to head over to leave a comment for a chance at winning a ScoreBoard die, then head over to Eileen's blog for a full list of participants, as well as voting for your favorite project on the hop!

Have a great day! Be well.

So, I guess I have been living in an isolation chamber. I assumed that my wife and I are the only ones making handmade crafts and cards. Wrong! I am really impressed with the box you made.
